1. What this covers
Two kinds of data can be deleted on request. The first is data from this website: the emails you send us, the answers you give before booking a call, and the booking itself. The second is data from a messaging assistant we operate for a business: when you write to that business on WhatsApp, Instagram or a similar channel, the assistant that answers may be one we built and run.
2. What we hold
For a messaging assistant, this is typically:
- Your identifier on that channel. The phone number or account id the platform gives us, and the display name shown on your profile.
- The conversation. The messages you sent, the replies the assistant sent, and the times they were sent.
- What you told us. Details you gave in the conversation, such as the service you asked about or a day that suits you, kept so the business can follow up.
- Technical records. Delivery and error logs that reference the message, kept for a short period so faults can be traced.
We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train models.
3. Who decides, who operates
When the assistant belongs to a business that hired us, that business decides what is collected and why: in data protection terms, it is the controller and we are the processor acting on its instructions. You may send a deletion request to either of us. If you send it to us, we will carry it out and tell the business, unless the business is required by law to keep a record.
For data collected through this website, Visne LLC is the controller and decides on its own.
4. How to ask
Either route works, and neither costs anything:
- Write to us. Email privacy@visne.io with the subject “Data deletion request”. Tell us the channel (WhatsApp, Instagram, email) and the number or account name you used, so we can find the right records. Naming the business you were writing to helps us answer faster.
- Ask in the conversation. Tell the assistant you want your data deleted. The request is passed to a person and handled the same way, and you will get a written confirmation by the same channel.
We may ask one question back to confirm you are the person the data belongs to. We will not ask for a document or a password.
5. What happens, and when
- We acknowledge the request within five business days.
- We delete the data within thirty days of confirming the request, and usually sooner.
- Copies inside routine backups are overwritten on their own cycle and are gone within ninety days. They are not restored into live systems in the meantime.
- You get a written confirmation when the deletion is done, on the channel you used to ask.
6. What we may keep
A deletion request removes the conversation and the details taken from it. Two things may remain: records we are required to keep by law, such as invoices and tax records, which never contain message content; and counts that no longer identify anyone, such as how many conversations an assistant handled in a month. If a legal claim is open, we may hold the relevant data until it is resolved and delete it afterwards.
7. The platform's own copy
WhatsApp, Instagram and similar services keep their own copy of your messages under their own terms. Deleting data on our side does not delete their copy, and we cannot do that for you. To remove messages from the app itself, use the app’s own settings or write to the platform.
8. Your other rights
Deletion is one of several rights. You can also ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or object to a particular use. Those are set out in our Privacy Policy, and the same address answers all of them.
